Poem #10: "Why would a poet wants to be the muse?"
"I can't understand why a poet wants to be the muse of another poet"
As much as I love to capture the twinkling sunlight that slips through the leaves
And how I feel it feels like love,
As much as I love how I always know how to document my tears
And my raging, fiery screams into inks,
As much as I love the feeling of my pen
Flawlessly dancing a ballet on top of my paper
Everytime a new bullet strucks my heart
Even if it's once in a full moon
I'd be on my knees
For someone to observe the cracks on my lips
Or the holes of my heart
For a work of art of alluring words
And knowing my smile or my soul lies in someone's magical mind
When they carefully carve them into their notebook

Hey! So funny story, I saw a TikTok video of a girl saying that she doesn't understand the infamous words "Always the poet, never the muse". No diss to her, but I immidiately thought of this when I read the words in her video so I thought I'd wrote it down then post here later!
P.S. it's 8.07 rn and I was supposed to be studying but y'know, sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do ;) (also finals are coming so maybe no posts for the next few weeks??? Idk, wish me luck 🤞)
