It was half past seven in the morning, February 24th, 2023. I am in my school, and the rain is really coming down. Thank God, there's no lightning or storm, it's just the rain is totally pouring. Me and my classmates had just returned from the mosque in my school, and because of the mosque is a few meters from my school building, as we walked from the mosque to the school building, our shoes get really wet (since the way from the mosque to the school is quite bumpy, so there's a lot of water puddles). As we arrived in our class, my classmates were busy with their damp socks and wet shoes, and grumbling about how worse today's rain is. We changed our shoes to slipper (yes, we have extra slippers in our class for conditions like this), and put our shoes and socks outside the class, to dry them. To avoid the chaotic condition in the class, I went out and stand in the hallway, next to the door to my class.
I personally find rain highly interesting. I think it's amazing to watch how loads of water drops rapidly to the ground. And the raindrops that fell to the roof, I take them as a curtain that separates the wet ground and the dry ground (if you think that was weird, the name of my blog has warned you). And not to mention the captivating sound of the rain. Thankfully, the teacher came to my class 30 minutes late that day, and while I'm waiting for her, I continued to read Little Women; a book by Louisa May Alcott that I'm currently reading that day(I will write a review about it when I get the time. Probably at weekend, I'm currently facing a mid-term test).
The beautifully charming book plus the heavenly sound and the sight of the rain, for me, that was a great way to start a day. And I think for me, the rain is so powerful that they could wash away anything. To me, they could cleared and wash up my thoughts, making me feel much better. They could bring back happy feelings, or even sad and tragic feelings. Flashbacks, echoes and nostalgic feelings also came up to me when it rains.
As always, see you soon, reader.
All the love, -R-
P.S. I just finished writing this, at March 9th, and based on the gloomy, dark clouds, I think it's going to rain. Yay. Another rain in the morning:)
