Poem #1: A Beautiful Lie
Poem #1: A Beautiful Lie
So, I have this thing where I love to write some sort of a poem but I prefer to call them "writings". I have been keeping this in my draft for years, so I think I would post them here. This is one of them, and it's called A Beautiful Lie.
A Beautiful Lie
Now that I think about it,
it all makes sense now.
You never wanted me in the first place,
you just wanted my potentials.
You said you've carved your name in your heart.
Oh, what a beautiful lie is that.
Now that I've seen the epiphany,
I wish you'd bury me deeper.
Tell me, how could you make your persuasions sounds so pleasant?
Step by step, I fell into your trap.
You knew we could've work together,
but you just need my potentials.

So, how was it? Constructive critics and advices are welcome in the comments below. Reader, see you soon.
All the love, -R-
P.S. I decided to call my "writings" poem, based on an advice from a friend of mine. This change is made on March 18th, 2023.
